Tony Hall
MC Tony Hall was born and raised in Columbia, South Carolina. Tony was introduced to hip-hop through a childhood friend. Tony remembers, "The first rap tape I ever heard was Boogie Down Productions and KRS ONE". Between 2000 and 2006, Tony dropped 4 independent albums under the stage name Solja Boy. In 2007, he recorded music under his government name due to controversy surrounding what he calls "identity theft". Tony connected with Michael Chambers, President of Cream Factory Records at a performance in a bay area (Northern California) nightclub.
