IDC Consultation Program

IDC Consultation is a program designed to help clients take control of their career while developing a comprehensive knowledge of the music industry.

With the modern ability to successfully create and sell content as an independent label or artist, many need help with planning and building their music career or business. There are more options available to connect directly with fans than ever before, but this wealth of opportunity can also be overwhelming as independents try to createand implement the best strategies to reach their fans and grow into a successful business.

As the IDC Consultation program begins, you will fill out a simple questionnaire that asks about all aspects of your career, including attainable goals and plans for the future. Once completed, IDC will better understand yourcurrent career path and how to best guide you towards setting and achieving these goals. IDC Consultation includes three one-hour scheduled meetings. Tangible assets are provided, which may include marketing plans and strategies, development of an industry standard press release, and various important forms and documents related to career planning and business structures.

IDC President and Founder Steffen Franz is a longtime artist manager and label owner who also teaches music business and basic business building for up-and-coming artists and labels. The IDC Consultation program will help you learn and understand many aspects about the music industry, achieve attainable goals, and set you on a path to successfully building your own independent career.
